Events this Week

Morning Prayer, 9.30am, on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday in St James’ Church.  All welcome.

Holy Communion, Wednesday, 9.30am, at St James Church.

St James’ Mothers’ Union, meets at 2.30pm,on Wednesday, in St James’ Hall.

Teddy Bears’ Picnic, for parents and toddlers. 11.30am to 1.00pm on Thursday in the Orchard at St Mildred (or if wet, in St James’ Hall).  Bring your own picnic and a teddy to join in the fun!

St Mildred’s PCC Meeting, on Thursday, at 7.30pm in St Mildred’s Church Centre.

Car Boot Sale:  11.00am on Saturday, in St Mildred’s Orchard.  Cars or tables £5.  (Set up from 10.00am)

Churches Together Family BBQ:

5.30pm to 8.00pm, on Saturday, in St Mildred’s Orchard. Adults £2.00 or Family Ticket £5.00 (2 adults and 2 children).

Jigsaw Puzzle Festival 2010 - Volunteers Needed:  Please could you sign the list at the back of the church if you would be able to spare some time during the Festival (9^th - 14^th August) to help welcome visitors into the church, serve refreshments in the Hall, or make cakes during the week.  Donations of money towards the cost of refreshments would also be very much appreciated.
