Lent Group, 12noon to 2.00pm on Tuesday in St James’ Hall Communion, on Wednesday, 9.30am, at St James.’ Lent Group, 7.30pm on Wednesday in St James’ Church Hall. Teddy Club: An informal service for parents and toddlers, meets at 9.30am, on Thursday, in St James’ Hall St Mildred’s Standing Committee, meets at 7.30pm on Thursday at the Rectory. Marriage Preparation Session for couples marrying this year, 10.30am to 4.00pm, on Saturday in St James’ Hall. Other Events and Advanced Dates Celebrating the Heritage of John Nash: An evening of music, poetry and prose exploring the architectural genius of one of our Country’s greatest architects. At 7.30pm, on Friday 12th March, in St James’ Church. Tickets from Jane Brand, telephone 209871. All proceeds to St James’ Roof Fund. Welcoming visitors to St Mildred’s during the Summer: If you would be interested in being part of the team helping others enjoy visiting St Mildred’s this year, please come along to the planning meeting at 2.30pm on Wednesday 3rd March, in St Mildred’s Church Centre, or speak to Jonathan. Could you be a Church Warden? Please think and pray about whether you may have the time and gifts to serve as a Church Warden. At the Annual Parochial Church Meetings in April, we need to elect someone to work alongside Rose Mitchell at St James and Bunnie Triggs at St Mildred. Please speak to Jonathan if you are interested in finding out more about the role and would be willing to stand for election. (Someone has already come forward at St Mildred). In addition to this, we will need to elect a number of new members to serve on the Parochial Church Councils. Again, please think and pray about this before the meetings in April. Sunday School at St James: We are hoping to be able to offer a weekly session. Please speak to Sue Lane if you would like to join the Sunday School leadership team.
